AYMA was born with a clear goal: to create elegant tights that not only look chic, but are also comfortable and sustainable.
We design the world’s first tights with an integrated sock part and unique odour control for maximum comfort – a ground-breaking innovation that combines comfort and functionality and revolutionises the way we wear tights.
Made in Northern Italy from the highest quality recycled yarn, our tights are more than just accessories. They are designed to give every wearer a sense of self-confidence and well-being.
Born out of a personal need
I founded AYMA in 2021 out of a personal frustration. As a regular tights wearer, I was tired of dealing with poor quality tights that were either uncomfortable in closed shoes, broke quickly and caused unpleasant odours – especially in the foot area. I always wore socks over my tights in closed shoes.
I had no experience in the textile industry. But my husband Steve was the one who encouraged me to pursue my idea and develop tights myself. And so I turned my idea into a mission: to develop tights in which socks are directly integrated. After almost two years of intensive research and development, the world’s first tights with an integrated sock part were launched on the market. This very special and unique comfort feature is AYMA’s trademark.
The collection now also includes classic tights for open shoes, an established range of compression products and other products such as leggings and shaping shorts.

The collection now also includes tights with the classic toe reinforcement (without an integrated sock part), patterned tights and compression tights. Every AYMA product has exceptional comfort features.

Sustainability – not a trend for us
During research and development, Fabienne quickly realized that common tights are produced using a petroleum-based manufacturing process. She is convinced that the world not only needs more inventive, but as well environmentally conscious products to lead the way to greater sustainability. It was clear to her to either find a sustainable alternative or drop her project idea. Fortunately, she then found a recycled nylon fibre of the highest quality. Production in Italy uses energy from renewable resources, environmentally friendly dyes and treats the water after dyeing before it flows back into the environment. AYMA also consistently focusses on comfort, sustainability and innovation in its other products.
